How to Travel Like a Super Fan

General Manager Derek Beckman says a lot of fans stay near the sports complex at the Courtyard^® Philadelphia South at The Navy Yard. Here are his tips:

Q: How should fans choose a hotel?
Consider travel time – you don't want to waste hours of your day in traffic. If it's walkable to the game, that is even better.

Q: What else should visiting fans do while in town?
Try the food. Philadelphia has the classic cheesesteak, but I'd go for the Italian pulled pork with broccoli rabe and sharp provolone.

Q: Any funny stories from sports fans at your hotel?
Guests locked their paper tickets in their car, along with the keys. Options were: skip part of the game or break the window. The window lost.
