| Dear [Fname][Member], |
Since I had the honor of being appointed CEO of Marriott International earlier this year, I've heard a common desire from people around the world—a desire to get back on the road—to visit family and friends, explore new destinations, or uncover a new experience, cuisine or language.
As part of our unwavering commitment to the transformative power of travel, as well as our desire to show appreciation for the loyalty our members have shown us during these challenging times, we are bringing back the Week of Wonders, beginning October 7th, with access to many exclusive offers and experiences to help you rediscover the wonder of travel, near or far.
Travel is a gift that allows us to keep growing as people – learning and stretching our understanding of the world. It also opens a door to human connection – something that the global pandemic reminded us is priceless. We are living through times of tremendous change, so I wanted to share some thoughts on what you can expect as you begin to return to travel.
Focus On Our Guests
We understand that travel currently looks very different all over the world and recovery varies by region. Following local guidelines, we will continue to observe safety protocols and may adjust some schedules or amenities as needed. We ask for your patience as our hotels adjust to the challenges.
We also know that you are looking for more flexibility and assurance when booking travel, so we are proud to provide guests with the opportunity to protect their trips with Allianz Travel Insurance, which can provide reimbursement for prepaid, non-refundable trip costs if you need to cancel your trip due to a covered illness, injury, and more.
New Hotels. New Experiences.
Marriott Bonvoy® remains committed to bringing our members the best hotels, destinations and travel experiences the world has to offer. Over the past few months, we have opened new hotels in destinations across the world including The Ritz-Carlton® Maldives, Fari Islands, Renaissance® Bali Nusa Dua Resort and Matild Palace, a Luxury Collection® Hotel, Budapest, with many more to come, including W Philadelphia and The Ritz-Carlton, Mexico City.
We have also expanded our number of all-inclusive resorts and their participation in Marriott Bonvoy. Members can now earn and redeem at our 29 all-inclusive resorts in destinations throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, Costa Rica, and more.
Planning for the Future
In the coming months, we will have more exciting news to share about incredible opportunities for luxury travel as well as the return of in-person experiences with Marriott Bonvoy Moments™ wherever it is prudent to do so.
Finally, while much has changed over the past year-and-a-half, what hasn't changed is the dedication our associates around the world display every day. Across our 30 brands, Homes & Villas by Marriott International™ and now all-inclusive resorts, we cannot wait to see you again and welcome you back. I remain optimistic that better days are ahead and that you can take advantage of the transformative power of travel, when the time is right.
Best,
|
