| Earning Rewards: You will earn 5 points per CAD$1 in net purchases made at participating Marriott locations, participating The Ritz-Carlton locations, and beginning X/XX/XX, at all Starwood-branded Hotels which participate in Starwood Preferred Guest, including: participating: Four Points Hotels, Sheraton Hotels, Aloft Hotels, W Hotels, Le Meriden Hotels, Element Hotels, Westin Hotels, St. Regis Hotels, at this time not including Tribute Portfolio, Design Hotels and The Luxury Collection. You will earn 2 points per CAD$1 spent on airline tickets purchased directly with the airline and at car rental agencies & restaurants. Merchants who accept Visa credit cards are assigned a merchant code based on the kinds of products and services they sell. Chase groups similar merchant codes into categories for purposes of making rewards offers to you. Chase makes every effort to include all relevant merchant codes in its listed categories. However, even though a merchant or the items that it sells may appear to fit within a listed category, the merchant may not have a merchant code that falls within that category. Therefore, purchases with that merchant will not qualify for the stated rewards offer on category purchases. Purchases submitted by you or the merchant through third-party payment accounts (e.g. PayPal), mobile or wireless card readers, online or mobile digital wallets, or similar technology (collectively, "Technology") will not qualify in a rewards category if the Technology is not set up to process the purchase in the rewards category. You will earn 1 point per CAD$1 spent on other net purchases where the Marriott Rewards Premier Visa Card is accepted.
