Congratulations – You’ve earned a credit line increase

Re: Your U.S. Bank `ccName` credit card account ending in `acctLast4`

Dear `fullName`,

Congratulations! You have earned an increase in your U.S. Bank `ccName` credit card credit line – from $[MM,MMM] to $[YY,YYY].

Also get a 0% APR on purchases less than $25 when you spend $`ccHurdle1` per month through the end of the year.1

Don't forget your card is a great way to pay all your bills! It cuts the time and hassle of writing checks and provides the extra protection that comes with the U.S. Bank Zero Liability policy.2 Visit usbank.com/paymybills for more information.

Whatever your plans, we hope that you take advantage of the increased buying power of your new credit line.

Sincerely,

Lynn Heitman

Terms and Conditions
1Your promotional daily periodic rate of 0.0000% (corresponding 0.00% ANNUAL PERCENTAGE RATE) will be applied to purchases less than $25 now through December 31, 2008 if the required $`ccHurdle1` or more in purchases are made each month. If you do not reach the required $`ccHurdle1` or more in purchases for a particular month, your APR will increase to the current applicable APR on your account.

This promotional rate:

  • Will be applied to qualified purchases through the closing date of the billing cycle that ends in December 2009.
  • Does not apply to cash advances, balance transfers and convenience checks.
  • Is for the use of this promotion only and is not a permanent change in terms.
  • Cannot be used to make payments on U.S. Bank accounts.
  • Is applied to qualifying purchases based upon the date and time in which they post to your account; note that the date and time a purchase posts to your account differs from the date and time a purchase is actually made.
  • Is only valid for the Cardmember and Visa Account indicated above and is non-transferable.

We may change APRs, fees and other Account terms in the future as provided under the Cardmember Agreement and applicable law. Your account must remain open, have available credit and be current (no minimum payment past due) to qualify. The rate will end early and increase to the current applicable APR if your Account is delinquent, over the limit or closed. We apply payments to balances with lower APRs, including promotional APRs, before balances with higher APRs. The variable APR for purchases or any Delinquency Rate then in effect will apply to any outstanding balances after the promotional period ends.

2Visa’s Zero Liability policy covers U.S.A.-issued cards only and does not apply to ATM transactions, PIN transactions not processed by Visa or certain commercial card transactions. Cardholder must notify issuer promptly of any unauthorized use.
