U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services has been
appointed in trustee and agency roles by Eole Finance
SPC on its USD 187.1m fixed-rate guaranteed bond
issue.
The Eole Finance SPC transaction marks the first
time such a securitisation structure, which utilises a
guarantee from French ECA Compagnie Francaise
d'Assurance pour le Commerce Exterieur (Coface),
has been employed in the European capital markets.
Proceeds from the bond offering will be used to finance
an Airbus A380 aircraft for Emirates Airlines.
U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services will provide
a range of services, including acting as trustee and
registrar for the bondholders and processing principal
and interest income on both the Reg-S and 144A
portions.
As credit agencies such as Coface continue to extend
credit to support French exporters, it is likely that more
of these types of deals will come to market, particularly
in the aircraft financing sector. U.S. Bank is well placed
