Greg Norman and Merrill Lynch are pleased to announce a multi-year agreement for the title sponsorship of Southwest Florida's PGA Tour stop, introducing the event as the "Merrill Lynch Shootout." The newly named event, which will be played for the 18th time November 8-12 at Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida, raises funds and awareness for CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation. The Merrill Lynch Shootout is also pleased to announce that Fred Couples and Annika Sörenstam have committed to the elite, 24-person field. Sörenstam will become the first woman to compete in the Merrill Lynch Shootout. This will mark Couples' 10th appearance in the Merrill Lynch Shootout.

The TELUS Skins Game will visit Alberta for the first time this summer, and to mark the occasion, it was announced that the annual Canadian summer golf classic will feature five of the biggest names in the game, including Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus. It marks the first time in the event's 14-year history that a fifth player will participate. As part of this year's celebration of the history of the game, each of the five players participating will represent a different decade. Nicklaus will represent players in their 60s with Norman representing those in their 50s. Stephen Ames, reigning Players Champion and defending TELUS Skins Game Champion, is in his 40s. John Daly is in his 30s, and Sergio Garcia is in his 20s.

The Arabian Hotel Investment Conference program has confirmed more than 120 top speakers from around the globe. The keynote address on the second day of the event will come from World Golf Hall of Fame member and successful entrepreneur Greg Norman. The conference theme, Oasis or Mirage: The future of hotel investment in the Middle East, will see delegates and industry experts reflect and debate on the huge investment and project initiatives in Arabia.
