Greg Norman Estates is celebrating its success after winning trophies for both best young white and best red wines at the 2005 Royal Sydney Wine Show. The 2002 Greg Norman Estates Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was awarded three trophies, including The Doctor Gilbert Phillips Memorial Trophy for the Best Red Wine in show. These latest accolades cement the caliber of the Greg Norman Estates wines established by the 1999 Reserve Shiraz, which was named the eighth best wine of 2004 by Wine Spectator magazine, and the 2001 Greg Norman Estates Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, which won the Alan Cook MBE Trophy for Best Gold Medal winning red table wine and The Courier Mail Trophy for Champion Wine of Show at the 2003 Royal Queensland Wine Show.

Greg Norman Golf Course Design and Mediterráneo Hispa Group, the developers of 3 Molinos Resort, have entered into an agreement for Norman to design both courses at the new project in Murcia. "The history of golf is very rich in Spain," said Norman. "We are pleased to be working in Spain again and look forward to working with Mediterráneo Hispa Group in the beautiful region of Murcia." Norman also designed the 45-hole Real El Prat Golf Club just outside Barcelona, which recently opened the final 9-holes. 3 Molinos Resort will feature a hotel and a variety of residential units and apartments. The project is completing the final design stages. Construction of the first course is scheduled to begin in early 2006.
