Tony Roosenburg, President of SFX Sports Golf, announced the strongest field to participate in the $2 million Heineken Classic at Royal Melbourne Golf Club, Feb 3-6. The Heineken Classic is co-sanctioned by the Australasian and European Tours. Greg Norman has scored a major victory with one of his wines. The Greg Norman Estates 1999 Reserve Shiraz was the only Australian wine to finish in the top 10 when Wine Spectator -- the biggest-selling wine magazine in the world -- listed its top 100 wines of the year. The red, Norman's favorite, was the No. 8 pick of the magazine's tasting panel from more than 12,500 sampled during the year. It garnered 96 points out of a possible 100. Norman produces the wines in partnership with Beringer Blass and the winning wine was a blend of Coonawarra and Victorian fruit.
