*Important Information: The annual interest rate for purchases and cash advances is 19.99%. The annual fee of $120 will be waived for the first year and charged annually thereafter (whether the card is activated or not) on your statement anniversary date. Other fees (to be charged on the day the transaction occurs, unless otherwise indicated): cash advance fee 1% of the advance amount, minimum $5; $25 dishonoured cheque fee; $20 fast card fee; $25 over the credit limit fee; $2 per each extra copy of your monthly statement; $4/per item copy of sales draft (no charge if our error); credit balance administration fee is the lesser of $25 or the amount of your credit balance. 5Foreign Currency Transaction Charges: We will bill you in Canadian Currency if you use your account to make a transaction in foreign currency. We will convert it into Canadian currency at the exchange rate set by Visa International Inc. in effect at the time we post the transaction to your account. This exchange rate may be different from the rate in effect on the transaction date. We will not charge you any additional foreign currency conversion charge. As of July 2013, the card will not work in Burma (Myanmar), Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria and Libya.
615 Elite Credits: Please allow 6–8 weeks from Marriott Rewards Premier Visa Card account ("Card Account") open date and Card Account anniversary date every year for the 15 Elite Credits to be credited to your Marriott Rewards account. To qualify for the anniversary 15 Elite Credits, your Card Account must be open and not more than two (2) billing cycles past due on your Account anniversary date. Only one Card Account per Rewards member (Rewards member must be the primary cardmember on that account) is eligible for the 15 Elite Credits award. 15 Elite Credits is equal to 15 Nights Credit in the Marriott Rewards Program. 7Earning Rewards: You will earn 5 points per CAD$1 in net purchases made at participating Marriott locations. You will earn 2 points per CAD$1 spent on airline tickets purchased directly with the airline and at car rental agencies & restaurants; 1 point per CAD$1 spent on other net purchases where the Marriott Rewards Premier Visa Card is accepted. Marriott Rewards points are not earned on balance transfers, cash advances, unauthorized charges, interest or fees. Marriott Rewards points will be awarded only to accounts that are open and not more than two (2) billing cycles past due on the statement closing date.
