- By working on the ad in it's native layout, you'll be able to play off the header color and imagery.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
> layout note1: ad should not be more dominant than the header
> layout note2: ad placement is the second most dominant on the page. It doesn't take much to make it show up prominentally.
> color recommendation 1: use limited color pallette. 4 colors or less (not including product colors)
> color recommendation 2: embrace white backgrounds when possible. Partial cropping on products can be very effective.
> When using White background: one point stroke that matches header color recommended.
> color recommendation 3: when not using white backgrounds, use analogous or complementary colors as featured in the header background.
> color recommendation 4 : when using full color backgrounds, try to use less saturated tonal quality. Colors with medium to high white tint values will create harmonious balance without competing against header. Best colors are Analogous to header, for example if you have a navy blue header then the same color with 30-70% white added will excel.
> Animated gifs not recommended: if animated gifs must be used, loop 3 times or less.
