Merchant Bulletin MB2007-04 August 8, 2007 Following is a brief overview of the announcements outlined in Merchant Bulletin MB2007-04 New Product Introductions: VirtualMerchant - an innovative and secure hosted software solution that allows virtually any merchant to process transactions through a web browser on any PC. Please transition from selling viaKlix to Virtual Merchant immediately. We will discontinue setting up new merchant relationships on viaKlix as of August 31, 2007. RDM 6111f Check Imager - a high quality check imaging peripheral certified to work with VirtualMerchant, viaWarp and viaWarp Deluxe. Operational Updates: Effective September 4, 2007, cash advance equipment will no longer be free of charge. A good purchase choice would be the affordable VeriFone Omni 3730 LE. Effective August 2, an updated version of the Terms of Service (TOS) and Merchant Operating Guide (MOG) are being released. Both will have new security tips and are burned onto a CD which will be the standard method of deployment to new merchants. Merchant Closure and Refund Requests: Effective immediately, merchant closure requests must be on bank letterhead to process the requests and there is a new procedure when submitting a refund of fees on behalf of a merchant.
