Equipment and Gift Card Pricing Changes Elan Merchant Services, LLC ("Elan") is pleased to announce updated pricing, packaging and enhancements to our Electronic Gift Card Product, as well as reduced equipment pricing. Gift Card Simplified Pricing and Paperwork We are pleased to announce the release of our new and improved Electronic Gift Card pricing and paperwork! No more confusing Basic, Classic and Classic Plus Programs or Basic, Standard and Custom forms...it is now simply "Gift Card!" These exciting changes will help you increase gift card sales and revenue by making the Gift Card more competitive and easier to understand. Among the changes are simplified programs, reduced paperwork and competitive pricing. These pricing changes are effective on March 1, 2006. Paperwork In addition to the streamlined and simplified pricing, we have redesigned the EGC paperwork. There is just one EGC enrollment form, which has replaced the Basic, Standard and Custom enrollment forms. Simply indicate:
In addition, we are pleased to announce the release of updated software for the Nurit 2085 product. All Nurit 2085 applications, including Retail, Restaurant, and MO/TO, have been updated to include support of the DUKPT/3DES PIN encryption to maximize security for merchants and to ensure association compliance. The new Nurit 2085 application requires the most recent version of Nurit Operating System (NOS 7). As a result, all merchant-owned Nurit 2085 terminals with a NOS less than 7.0 must be exchanged, to allow for an NOS upgrade, prior to being programmed. The cost for this exchange is $75.00. More information will follow to enable you to contact your merchants to verify their current operating system, internal PINpad compliance, and upgrade the terminal, if necessary. Existing merchants on the NOVA Network will have 17 months to become compliant. The Nurit 8320 Dial and the 8320 IP are now available (refer to the product Launch document located in the Bulletins/Communications Library at the Client Support Merchant InfoCenter). Pricing for the new MerchantConnect-Premium and the Custom Reporting is included as well. More information on the availability of these exciting enhancements will be announced in the near future.
