Preparing Thanksgiving dinner can be hectic. The last thing you want to hear among the stress of cooking a HUGE dinner are cries of “I’M BORED” coming from your favorite little party guests! Put your little ones to work creating these Tabletop Turkeys... you’ll have an added decoration for your Thanksgiving table AND keep everyone busy and happy in the process!

Easy Step-by-Step Directions:

  1. Cut the cardboard into strips — we started with a 9x12" sheet and cut it into two 4½x12" pieces.
  2. Fold each strip in half and then in half again so you have four equal sections. Round the corners on one end to make a head shape.
  3. Form into a triangle (overlapping the rounded end on top of the bottom section) and glue in place.
  4. Cut out a beak, waddle, eyes, and feathers from the construction paper and glue in place on your cardboard to create a turkey (see photo).
