Ribbon Ball Topiary

Ribbon Ball Topiary

Pretty ribbon topiaries are all the rage right now — you can find them as centerpieces for parties, showers, weddings, and as home décor. Did you know they’re fun and easy to make, and all of the supplies can be found at your local Dollar Tree, including cute flower pots or buckets to “plant” them in?

Shop at Dollar Tree — Here’s What You’ll Need:

Easy Step-by-Step Directions:

  1. Put a dollop of glue on the end of your skewer, dowel, bamboo, or wand. Stick it into your foam shape.
  2. Cut the ribbon (all three colors) into even pieces, between 3" and 5" each (larger pieces will create a larger topiary ball, smaller pieces will create a smaller topiary ball).
  3. Make loops out of each piece of ribbon and glue in place. Glue each loop to your foam shape, making sure to overlap the loops slightly to ensure total coverage.
  4. Press the floral foam into your bucket or flower pot. Put a dollop of glue on the end of the stick (opposite of the ribbon) and “plant” it into your foam inside the pot. Top with the floral beads or luster gems.
  5. Fluff up the ribbons and you’re done!
