Easy Step-by-Step Directions:

  1. Using a dinner plate as a template, trace and cut out a circle from the poster board.
  2. Cut the circle in half and form into a cone shape. Tape the edge to hold the cone in place.
  3. Draw and cut out a wide heart shape from the poster board (roughly 2" tall x 2.5" wide). Use this heart as a template to cut out additional of hearts from construction paper.
  4. Working from the bottom of your cone to the top, glue the hearts, upside down, in rows, slightly overlapping the sides and making sure all of the poster board is covered.
  5. Top each candleholder with a cone, securing with glue or tape.
