Shop at Dollar Tree — Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Picture Frame
- Foil Wrapped Candy, like Hershey’s Kisses®
- White Glue
- Paintbrush or Small Sponge
Easy Step-by-Step Directions:
- Carefully flatten and smooth the wrappers from foil wrapped candies. We used chocolate hearts along with the Hershey’s Kisses® (be sure to set aside the “tails” too!)
- Remove the glass and backing from the frame.
- Working in small sections at a time, spread thin layers of glue and layer the wrappers to completely cover the frame. Allow to dry.
- Create a glue solution by thinning glue, at a ratio of 2 parts glue to 1 part water. Lightly brush or sponge the glue solution completely over the frame.
- Lay the Kisses’ tails across sections of the frame and lightly smooth down. Be careful, they’re a bit delicate. Allow to dry.
- Brush on 2 more coats of the glue mixture to seal your handiwork, allowing to dry between coats.
- Complete it with a happy photo!
