- Enough of your favorite cake batter for two cakes (or cake mix and necessary ingredients)
- 8" round cake pan
- 7.5" square cake pan
Easy Step-by-Step Directions:
- Bake your cake according to the directions, one in the round pan and one in the square.
- Once cooled, cut the round in half and position on 2 sides of the square cake. If the corners hang off the edges a little, trim the center corners of the half circle until everything lines up (see photo below).
- Frost by putting glops of frosting around the cake and smoothing over to a flat surface - evening out the natural rise of the cakes.
- Decorate with candies and sprinkles for a special (and simple!) end to a lovely meal or party!
