Mini Tealight Lamps
Evening parties could always use a little romance. Whether you use these on your tables or place as a "night light" in the bathroom for guests, their romantic simplicity is sure to win your guests over... and the less than $3 total price tag will be a great bonus!
Shop at Dollar Tree – Here's What You'll Need:
- Stemmed Wine Glass
- Poster board or Card stock
- Small Hole Punch
- LED Tealights
Easy Step-by-Step Directions:
- Cut a circle out of your poster board or card stock (to give you an idea of size, we used a dinner plate as a template).
- Using the top of your wine glass as a template, cut a hole into the center of the poster board circle.
- Cut the resulting donut shape into thirds (this makes shades for 3 lights).
- Use the hole punch to create a decorative pattern in your shade. (Tip: draw out what you want on the inside of the shade to plan out where to punch.)
- Overlap and tape or glue straight edges together. Place an LED tealight into the glass and place your shade on top.
- Repeat for the other 2 tealights.
Fun Tip
- Want your lampshade to have a fun pattern or design? Easy! Just glue wrapping paper to the top of your poster board.
