Have you ever seen adorable heart-shaped cupcakes and wonder how they did that? Well, it's a lot easier than you may think! In addition to your normal cupcake ingredients, all you'll need is some aluminum foil. Since it's February and love is in the air, give this easy idea a try for all the sweethearts in your life.

Shop at Dollar Tree – Here's What You'll Need:

• Boxed Cake Mix
• Cupcake Baking Cups
• Aluminum Foil
• Muffin Baking Pans
• Frosting

Easy Step-by-Step Directions:

1. Prepare the cupcake batter as directed on the box.
2. Place the cupcake papers inside your muffin baking pans.
3. Take pieces of aluminum foil and roll them into balls, about the size of grapes.
4. Place a ball of aluminum foil in between each cupcake liner and the edge of the pan openings.
5. Fill the cupcake liners NO MORE than half full with batter. This is important because you don't want the cupcakes to cook up and over the top of the liners or you will lose the heart shape.
6. Bake the cupcakes as directed on the box.
7. When the cupcakes are finished baking, remove the cupcakes from the tin, making sure the balls of aluminum foil aren't stuck on the outside of the cupcake liners.
8. Frost and enjoy!
