Hot Chocolate Station

Brrrrrr... it's that chilly time of year, but just because it's cold outside doesn't mean you can't have fun. And, that fun doesn't have to cost a fortune, either! Set up a quick and easy hot chocolate station and celebrate being inside with your favorite people. Maybe it's a family PJ party or a snuggly sweaters and movie night in with your BFFs — no matter who you share it with, a hot chocolate station makes cold weather a lot more fun.

Shop at Dollar Tree — Here's What You'll Need:

• Hot Chocolate (Prepackaged mix or made from scratch, see recipe below)
  
  
• Mix-Ins (Peppermint candies, chocolate chips, caramels, marshmallows & more)
  
  
• Mugs

Easy Step-by-Step Directions:

1. Make some hot chocolate. Use instant mix, or go old-school style and make it from scratch:
   1. Warm 1½ cups of milk and ¼ cup of sugar in a pan on the stove.
   2. Whisk until the milk is almost to a boil, then add 1 cup of chopped semi-sweet chocolate (or chips).
   3. Whisk until chocolate is melted and serve.
      
      
2. Provide the mugs and mix-ins for your party-goers. Set out large and mini marshmallows, mints for peppermint mocha, caramels, chocolate chips, and butterscotch candies for endless yummy options.
