Glitter Party Glasses

Here’s What You’ll Need (Shop online or at a Dollar Tree store):

• Glasses (wine glasses, vases, candleholders, etc.)
• Glitter (the bigger the pieces of glitter the better)
• Non-Toxic White Glue
• Paint Brush
• Tape, Optional (something low-tack works best, like masking tape or painter’s tape)

Easy Step-by-Step Directions:

1. Wash and dry your glasses. This will allow the glue to properly adhere to them.
2. Prepare the glitter by mixing it with the glue. About ½ tbsp. of glitter to 2 tbsp. of white glue. Mixing the glitter and the glue will keep the glitter from rubbing off.
3. Paint thin layers of the glittered glue on the outside of the glass (be careful not to add glitter to the top 1” of the glass where you drink from). Allow each layer to dry before painting the next layer. Keep layering until you reach your desired effect/color depth.
4. Keep in mind that once the glasses are painted, they are no longer dishwasher safe and must be washed by hand.

Fun Tips:

• Get creative with patterns! Using a low-tack tape, make designs on your glasses such as stripes, zigzags, or a chevron pattern. Simply tape off the design area prior to painting on the glitter, then carefully remove the tape before the glue dries.
