Top 5 Things to Remember for Christmas Morning

Christmas morning has finally arrived... yay! Presents purchased and wrapped? Check! Cookies Baked? Check! Batteries for the toys ready... uhhh... oops.

If you want your Christmas morning to be merry and bright, make a survival kit that includes the following 5 must-have items (plus, each item is just $1 at Dollar Tree):

  1. Batteries, in all sizes. The kids (and you!) are sure to get toys and gadgets that require batteries. Trust us, there's no bigger downer on Christmas morning than a new toy that doesn't run because there's no batteries.

  2. Screwdrivers (Phillips head and flat head) to unscrew the battery compartments of the toys and electronics.

  1. Garbage bags - you'll need to tackle the mountains of torn and crumpled gift wrap left in the wake of a glorious Christmas morning free-for-all. Not to mention all the paper plates, cups, and napkins you and your guests will go through.
  2. Scissors - tackle all that tough plastic packaging without tearing up your hands.
  3. Paper and pen to write down who gave you what - you'll need this information for writing thank-you notes later!
